At this year's Oregon Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages conference on November 20-21, David Kertzner presented on: Practical Simulation Activities with Digital Audio-Visual Content
Here is the Abstract
ESL teachers can create and enhance simulation activities, turning them into more dynamic training, using camcorders and free media software. The result is a content-rich learning experience addressing multiple skills. Workshop participants learn how audio and video recordings can be turned into tailored teaching material using free, widely-available software such as Moviemaker and Audacity.
